Detailed Problem Description
This WMS740 report is used by Invoicing Department daily as resource to determine invoices that need to be generated for SNC orders.
It has mysteriously failed randomly for a long time. I rescheduled the recurring and set it to notify me if it fails. It wouldn’t even notify me…
Can you or your team please help since I am out of solutions.
Solution Analysis and Recommendations
1. Need to analysis on WMS740 report in BI Production.
2. Need to check the scheduling options in BI Launchpad.
3. Need to recommended OSS Note 1900005 related to this issue.
4. Need to update the data sources in the report.
5. Need to investigate destination path causing the issue in the schedule options.
Resolution
1. Need to analysis on WMS740 report in BI Production.
2. Need to check the scheduling options in BI Launchpad.
3. Need to check OSS Notes related to this issue.
4. Need to update the data sources in the report.
5. Identified that the issue is caused by the file name 'GSCI005.csv' in the destination path.
6. The reason behind is the file is being locked in the background at the server level causing the failure of both the reports GSCI005- DD Passed not PGRd and WMS740 report.
